What Is This Drumhead?

This is the imported REMO Diplomat drumhead, in 12 inches — the typical size for repique, snare drum, drum kit tom and other percussion drums. It's a single-ply 7.5 mil head (thinner than a standard head), giving it a very bright, open sound that's very sensitive to touch.

When Does This Head Make Sense?

Being thinner, it responds with more sensitivity and brightness than a thicker head — ideal for anyone after a brighter, more defined sound, or for working with subtler dynamics and nuance in their playing.

Before you buy: measure the real diameter of your instrument's hoop — this head is for an exact 32cm diameter (12 inches). Fits repique, snare drum, drum kit tom and any 12' diameter drum.
