Boedo Percusión

How to Buy

Everything you need for a smooth purchase at Boedo Percusión: building your order, shipping and payment methods. If you're buying a Bombo with Cymbal, we've added model, size and color further below.

1Build your order

Pick whatever you need from the whole store — bombos, cymbals, repiques or accessories — and add it to your cart.

You can add more than one product to the same order and adjust the quantity of each before checking out.

Check your cart whenever you want — nothing is confirmed until you complete payment.

2Shipping

The cost is calculated based on destination and weight of what you bought — instruments are large items, so there's no flat rate. You'll see it in the shipping step of checkout, before you pay — never a surprise at the end.

We ship anywhere in the country, and internationally too.

3Payment methods

4Step by step

Bombos with cymbal

Buying a bombo?

Here we cover model, size and color — specific to this category, doesn't apply to the rest of the store.

Choose your model

The difference between models is whether the bombo comes assembled with a cymbal or not, and which cymbal set it includes.

With cymbal (Chato / Campana / Combinado)

The bombo comes ready, assembled with its cymbal. The difference between Chato, Campana and Combinado is the shape and cymbal set — details for each are on its product page.

Individual

The bombo alone, without a cymbal. For those who already have one or prefer to choose it separately — you'll need to add a cymbal stand, sold separately.

Kids Line

Sized by age, not height. See the Kids Size Guide below.

Not sure which one fits your murga or band? Message us on WhatsApp, we'll help you decide in minutes.

Choose your size

A reference for choosing your bombo's diameter. It's not a strict rule — many adults prefer smaller, lighter instruments, and bigger-built kids sometimes use larger sizes.

Relationship between person height and bombo-with-cymbal diameter

Person's height vs.
bombo's diameter

How to calculate your size

Your height (cm) ÷ 3 = suggested diameter (cm) Compare it with the tables alongside

125 cm ÷ 3 = 41.6 cm → between 16' and 18'

160 cm ÷ 3 = 53.3 cm → between 20' and 22'

Kids Sizes 10' – 14'

Kids Line — based on each model's recommended age.

Size Diameter Recommended age
10' 25 cm 1 to 3 years old
12' 30 cm 4 and 5 years old
14' 35 cm 5 to 8 years old

Standard Sizes 16' – 22'

Height reference based on the formula height ÷ 3 = diameter.

Size Diameter Reference height
16' 40 cm ~120 cm
18' 45 cm ~135 cm
20' 50 cm ~150 cm
22' 55 cm ~165 cm
Size Diameter Reference height
24' 60 cm From 170 cm
26' 65 cm From 185 cm
24' and 26' don't follow the formula above: they're traditional sizes, generally meant for larger builds. Even so, there's no single right answer — experienced players sometimes choose a smaller instrument anyway, just for comfort.

Color customization

Choose the color of your bombo's shell and rims. Let us know in the Note field at checkout — tell us the color you want (you can also send us a reference or photo on WhatsApp if you'd rather nail the exact shade).

Custom vinyl decals with your design or your murga's are added separately, as their own product — add "Vinilo personalizado para Bombos" (Custom Vinyl for Bombos) to your cart along with your instrument.
